धर्म डेस्क। शास्त्रों में कहा है देवताओं के दिन-रात धरती के छह महीने के बराबर होते हैं। इसी आधार पर जब वर्षाकाल प्रारंभ होता है, तो देवशयनी एकादशी को देवताओं की रात्रि प्रारंभ होकर शुक्ल एकादशी यानी देवउठनी एकादशी तक छह माह तक देवताओं की रात रहती है। कहा जाता है कि इस दौरान तुलसी की पूजा से ही देवपूजा का फल मिलता है।
देवउठनी से छह महीने तक देवताओं का दिन प्रारंभ हो जाता है। अतः तुलसी का भगवान श्री हरि विष्णु की शालीग्राम स्वरूप के साथ प्रतीकात्मक विवाह कर श्रद्धालु उन्हें वैकुंठ को विदा करते हैं। इस तिथि को तुलसी बैकुंठ लोक में चली जाती हैं और देवताओं की जागृति होकर उनकी समस्त शक्तियों पृथ्वी लोक में आकर लोक कल्याणकारी बन जाती हैं।
तुलसी पूजा का मंत्र
वृन्दा वृन्दावनी विश्वपूजिता विश्वपावनी। पुष्पसारा नन्दनीच तुलसी कृष्ण जीवनी।।
एतभामांष्टक चैव स्रोतं नामर्थं संयुक्तम। य: पठेत तां च सम्पूज् सौऽश्रमेघ फललंमेता।।
तुलसी के आठ नाम – वृंदा, वृंदावनी, विश्वपूजिता, विश्वपावनी, पुष्पसारा, नन्दिनी, तुलसी और कृष्ण जीवनी। इस मंत्र का जाप करें या नहीं हो सके, तो तुलसी के इन आठ नामों को स्मरण करने से ही अक्षय फल मिलते हैं।
इन चीजों से करें तुलसी पूजन
तुलसी पूजा के लिए घी का दीपक और धूप लगाएं। सिंदूर, चंदन, नैवद्य और पुष्प अर्पित करें। रोजाना तुलसी का पूजन करने से घर का वातावरण पवित्र रहता है। इस पौधे में कर्इ ऐसे तत्व भी होते हैं, जिनसे रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता मिलती है। इसे प्राणदायनी कहा जाता है और जल या दूध में तुलसीदल डालने से वह पंचामृत हो जाता है।
