राम की नगरी चित्रकूट में “टिकट भक्तों” की कतार
चित्रकूट। राम की नगरी चित्रकूट विधानसभा उपचुनाव में भाजपा का प्रत्याशी कौन होगा. पार्टी इस पर फैसला अब अगले एक या दो दिन में करेगी. प्रदेश भाजपा चुनाव समिति की बैठक में टिकट के 10 दावेदार होने की वजह से ऐसी स्थिति बनी.
चित्रकूट विधानसभा उपचुनाव के लिए उल्टी गिनती शुरू हो गई है. यहां 9 नवम्बर को नए विधायक के चुनाव के लिए मतदान होना है. लेकिन प्रत्याशी के नाम पर चर्चा करने के लिए भोपाल में प्रदेश भाजपा चुनाव समिति की बैठक में टिकट के दावेदार सभी दस नामों पर चर्चा हुई लेकिन एक नाम पर सहमति नहीं बन सकी.
पर्दे के पीछे की बात ये है कि कांग्रेस के कब्जे वाली इस सीट को हथियाने के लिए भाजपा कोई रिस्क नहीं लेना चाहती है. यही वजह है स्थानीय स्तर पर कोई मनमुटाव की स्थिति नहीं बने, प्रदेश संगठन ने उम्मीदवार के नाम का ऐलान टाल दिया
10 दावेदारों में से 8 ब्राह्मण और 2 क्षत्रिय वर्ग से आते है. टिकट के दावेदारों में श्रीकृष्ण मिश्र, पन्नालाल अवस्थी, शंकर दयाल त्रिपाठी, रामनाथ मिश्रा, हर्ष नारायणसिंह बघेल, चंद्रकमल त्रिपाठी, पूर्व विधायक सुरेंद्र सिंह गहरवार, सुभाष शर्मा डोली, रत्नाकर चतुर्वेदी और नंदिता पाठक शामिल हैं.
हाल ही में हुए नगरीय निकायों के चुनाव में जैतवारा परिषद में भाजपा ने जबकि चित्रकूट नगर परिषद में कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष पद के प्रत्याशी ने जीत हासिल की.
वहीं चित्रकूट के चुनावी इतिहास पर नजर डालें तो पता चलता है, कि एक बार 2008 को छोडक़र भाजपा को यहां कभी सफलता नहीं मिली. इसमें भी मतों का अंतर बहुत कम मात्र 700 रहा.
दिवंगत कांग्रेस विधायक प्रेमसिंह साल 1998, 2003 और 2013 में भारी मतों के अंतर से जीतते रहे. 2013 विधानसभा चुनाव में प्रेमसिंह ने भाजपा के पूर्व विधायक सुरेन्द्र सिंह गहरवार को 12 हजार मतों से हराकर जीता था.
चित्रकूट सीट के खुद के सर्वे में भाजपा ने पाया है कि पार्टी के पक्ष में पूरी तरह से माहौल अनुकूल नहीं है. कांग्रेस के पक्ष में जहां सहानुभति है, वहीं भाजपा के सामने प्रत्याशी का चेहरा सहित एंटी इनकमबेंसी महत्वपूर्ण मसला है. यहां नेताप्रतिपक्ष अजय सिंह राहुल की प्रतिष्ठा दांव पर लगी है.
उत्तर प्रदेश की सीमा से लगा चित्रकूट विधानसभा क्षेत्र, कभी समाजवादियों का गढ़ माना जाता था. बाद में बसपा और कांग्रेस ने क्षेत्र में अपना वर्चस्व कायम किया. खासबात यह है कि उत्तरप्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश में चित्रकूट नाम से दो अलग-अलग विधानसभा क्षेत्र हैं.
ये दोनों क्षेत्र एक-दूसरे से लगे हुए हैं, इसी साल मार्च में उत्तर प्रदेश में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में, वहां के चित्रकूट सीट से भाजपा के चंद्रिका प्रसाद उपाध्याय ने सपा प्रत्याशी को 27 हजार मतों के बड़े अंतर से हराया है. देखना यह होगा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में 7 माह पहले भाजपा के पक्ष में बही बयार मध्य प्रदेश के चित्रकूट सीट पर होने वाले उपचुनाव पर क्या असर डालेगी?
